There are tools that you can utilize and implement if your budget and time is tight. Here are a few tools to look into.


1. Google Calendar: Use Google Calendar to create a content and publishing calendar to keep you on track. Having this calendar will provide you clarity and streamline your content creation and posting process.


2. Evernote: Download Evernote to your phone so that you can jot down notes for new content as they come to you. There have been times when I wake up at 2 in the morning roll over and talk-to-text a note for a content idea in Evernote.

Not only does it help me remember on the go, it can be fun trying to figure out what I was trying to get across to myself at 2 in the morning…topic for another day.

The point here, is that ideas for content come up at unexpected times. Using a tool like Evernote can help.


3. IFTTT: Automate posts to social media campaigns with IFTTT (If This Then That). With IFTTT, you can automate your posts to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social channels. When you first login, it looks like a lot of work, but keep it simple.

Pick the two or three channels you want to focus on get started. You can always go back in and set up more as you have the time.
